Noah’s Story

Hi, Everyone,
We have wrapped up our study of wilderness, and this Friday, October 20, we will be discussing the first of many bedtime stories we will be exploring this season. Our first story will be about Noah. Coincidentally, I am also reading this story to the pre-K groups in the preschool on Thursday. I will keep track of their comments. I was unable to upload it to the site because of the size. If you email me, I will attempt to send it to you as a zip file. Here is a youtube of a guy reading the story with the pictures. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYQITV77umA

The Book Group has chosen their next book, Just Like Jesus; Learning to Have a Heart like His by Max Lucado. Unfortunately there is only one copy in the public library system, in Saratoga.
Here is part of the description from Amazon:
God loves you just the way you are, but he refuses to leave you there. He wants you to be just like Jesus. But how does this change occur? And why does the change seem so slow? If God wants me to be just like Jesus, why do I still seem just like me?
In Just Like Jesus, Max Lucado helps you answer these questions.

Used copies are $6. If you have any questions or would like help finding a copy of the book, please message Becky at beckynold85@gmail.com. Discussion night is scheduled for Tuesday, January 16 at 7:00 PM.
Donna will be bringing the gift catalogs for the World Hope Gift Fair this Friday. Be part of the selection process for what gets chosen to be part of the Fair!

I hope to see you all on Friday, October 20 at 9:00.

Grace and peace,
Denise
