Mission Possible Opportunity! Imagine helping a person build the skills and mindset needed to break the cycle of poverty. That is exactly what we are being called to do by offering child care to support parents attending Getting Ahead, a research-based class offered through Captain every Tuesday, from 6:00 – 8:15 p.m., at the Mechanicville Community Center. Two or three volunteers are needed to supervise about 7 children. Dinner and snacks will be provided, along with access to a gymnasium and playroom with toys and crafts. Becky has signed up for Tuesday, March 8, and would love to have a couple other people join her. Sign up in Fellowship Hall on Sundays or email Becky if you’d like to work with her firstname.lastname@example.org
Remember in this unpredictable weather season that when Shenendehowa schools are closed or delayed, Friday Morning Moms will not meet that day.
Have a great time with Diane, and I’ll see you again soon..
Grace and peace,
