Coming Out of Hibernation?

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are all enjoyed last weekend’s tease of spring, and I hope you’re not too dismayed about being sucked back into the Polar Vortex.  But things are warm and inviting at Friday Morning Moms!  This Friday, February 28, there will be a regular meeting with Dr. Rita Oliverio providing the program on dealing with the loss of a beloved pet.  Rita asks that you bring prayers, poems, or pictures that have been helpful to you if you have lost a pet.

As we say goodbye to February, I just had to share some important dates with you.  February is Adopt a Rescued Rabbit Month, Grapefruit Month, and National Mend a Broken Heart Month. It is Peace Corps Week, National Secondhand Wardrobe Week, National Eating Disorders Awareness Week, and Bird Health Awareness Week. Friday, February 28 is Rare Disease Day, Read Me Day, Floral Design Day, and National Tooth Fairy Day.

That Time of the Year…

Oh the weather outside is frightful – sometimes – so let me remind you of our inclement weather policy:  If Shenendehowa Schools are closed or delayed on a Friday morning when we are planning to meet, our meeting for that day is cancelled.
